Because addiction affects all parts of our lives, CeDAR completes a comprehensive assessment to account for all factors affecting a person's wellness. We know that drug and alcohol use is often not the only problem. Our process is designed to be flexible and work within the capabilities of each individual.
In addition to the basic evaluation of drug and alcohol use, a team of CeDAR professionals will assess the overall of wellness of each person, including emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social and spiritual dimensions.
CeDAR staff works with each person individually to strategize treatment. People will often ask to involve family, friends, doctors, and previous mental health providers in the planning process. We seek to create the most comprehensive plan using all available resources.
