Behavioral Health Counselor
Katie Larkin, MA, LPCC, LAC

Katie earned her Master’s degree from the University of Denver in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an Addiction Specialization. She is a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC). Before coming to CeDAR, Katie had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including crisis counseling, inpatient mental health care, and other residential substance abuse programs. She is passionate about working with adults and their families while they navigate recovery. Katie utilizes a Person-Centered approach while integrating techniques from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
