CeDAR recognizes the critical work done by referring Physician Health Programs (PHP’s), Wellness Programs, organizations, and other monitoring/diversion programs who work to maintain public safety, while also maximizing the health and well-being of troubled professionals.
We also recognize that professionals referred by these oversight groups benefit most from involvement with multiple systems of care. Addiction treatment for professionals in conjunction with longer-term monitoring significantly increases a professional’s chance to achieve lasting recovery, maintain their profession and protect public welfare.
