CeDAR recognizes the critical work done by referring Physician Health Programs (PHP’s), Wellness Programs, organizations, and other monitoring/diversion programs who work to maintain public safety, while also maximizing the health and well-being of troubled professionals.
We also recognize that professionals referred by these oversight groups benefit most from involvement with multiple systems of care. Chemical dependency treatment in conjunction with longer-term monitoring significantly increases a professional’s chance to achieve lasting recovery, maintain their profession and protect public welfare.
CeDAR is in-network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna insurance.
CeDAR follows the philosophy that addiction and co-occurring disorders are chronic, life-threatening biopsychosocial diseases affecting all aspects of a person’s functioning. The program model utilizes an evidence-based approach to integrating addiction and mental health treatment into a comprehensive whole.
Program components include:
Patients will benefit from a structured gender-responsive program which is safe and conducive to advancing early recovery gains. During residential treatment, their needs will be assessed and managed in an individualized manner. Our programs are designed to provide participants with therapeutic activities in group, individual and peer support formats.
CeDAR Professionals Program includes:
Research indicates that healthcare practitioners, other professionals and people in safety-sensitive roles such as pilots who participate in at least 30-120 days of residential care plus several years of supervised recovery monitoring have exceptional recovery outcomes.
Healthcare and other professionals who are mandated to treatment from licensing boards or monitoring/advocacy programs will find the CeDAR Professionals Program focuses on their specific needs. Issues related to stigma, connection to recovering professional peers, accountability, return-to-work planning, and advocacy are incorporated into the program and addressed in an individualized treatment plan.
