CeDAR is part of the University of Colorado Hospital and we’re integrated into the UCHealth system to provide treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health. The University of Colorado Hospital is a nationally recognized academic medical center and is part of the UCHealth hospital system, and is regularly rated on the top of the U.S. News & World Report lists of adult specialties.
We are uniquely qualified to provide clinical care for your addiction-related mental health and medical conditions. Our psychiatric and medical staff are licensed, accredited UCHealth clinicians with 24-hour access to hospital resources. You’ll be working with compassionate professionals who not only specialize in treating addiction, they’re also able to help you resolve mental and physical health issues that commonly occur alongside addiction.
CeDAR’s staff are licensed and credentialed UCHealth clinicians consisting of board-certified addiction medicine doctors, psychiatrists, and counselors. These experienced professionals offer the highest levels of care available in the region.
We also work with the University of Colorado School of Medicine to provide training for Addiction Medicine fellows. These fellows are at the forefront of innovative and progressive strategies for treating addiction. They help ensure the future of quality care for our community.

We understand that drug and alcohol use is often not the only problem. Our process is designed to be flexible and work within the capabilities of each individual.
In addition to the basic evaluation of drug and alcohol use, a team of CeDAR professionals will assess your overall of wellness, including emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social and spiritual dimensions.
CeDAR staff works with you individually to strategize treatment. You may ask to involve family, friends, doctors, and previous mental health providers in the planning process. We seek to create the most comprehensive plan using all available resources.
Based on the findings from CeDAR’s comprehensive assessment, a responsive treatment plan will be developed. We work with you to create a customized plan that can take you into long-term recovery.

CeDAR treats drug and alcohol addiction as a chronic condition requiring a continuum of care. We provide treatment services that extend well past residential care. The treatment team will work with you to develop an ongoing care plan for long-term recovery.
Our services include 30-day Residential Treatment, 60 to 90-day Residential Extended Care, 90-day Professionals Program for licensed professionals seeking treatment, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Ongoing Clinical Assessments, Recovery Coaching, and Mutual Aid Groups.
