Kara McArtor is a behavioral health leader that works with professionals and teams to elevate their practices. She believes in the immense power of the human spirit to create positive change. Kara worked as a clinician with adults, including pregnant and postpartum women, for 4 years at Arapahoe House before transitioning to Centennial Peaks Hospital in 2013. Since 2013, Kara has spent several years in leadership where she has focused on streamlining processes in order to create ease of access to care for members of the community, implementing best practices related to regulatory compliance, performance improvement, and patient safety, and working with other leaders on such issues as employee engagement, patient satisfaction, clinical quality, risk mitigation, and operational improvement.
Kara holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology & Counselor Education from the University of Colorado and is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Addiction’s Counselor.
